We were pleased with the buffet. The options to choose from were sufficient. They have a nice salad bar. Yet, we only ate traditional breakfast items. They kept the buffet stocked and our waitress was attentive!

The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of delicious staples, from scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, and pancakes (just to name a few). If you love bacon, then you’ll lob this Shoney’s as it was plentiful and continually stocked every few minutes. The atmosphere is great, the restaurant is clean, the food is delicious, and the service was excellent (especially Tracy). Shoney’s was such a staple of numerous family vacations and it’s so nice to see that this location is still offering good food and great memories!

We went for breakfast this morning and will definitely be going back! Food was hot and delicious with many options to choose from! Bar was clean! Not sure why we haven’t been coming regularly before now? We had Ashley as our server and we didn’t want for a thing drinks kept full and table was cleaned and she was very sweet and inviting! Five stars all the way around…hands down!!

My wife and I were in the Florence area and decided to have breakfast at Shoneys. This is the only one anywhere near our home. The parking lot was full so we expected a crowd. Although they were very busy we were seated very quickly. The breakfast buffet turned out to be quite delicious. The bacon was crispy and all other items appeared fresh and the staff maintained the bar very well. I had pancakes and French toast sticks along with scrambled eggs. We found the fruit to be fresh and very tasty. The young lady who waited on our table was nice and friendly and checked on our progress frequently. In most instances I frown on giving low ratings unless they are truly earned. The reason I rated the atmosphere so low was after entering the front door we noticed right away that there was one group seated near by that was terribly loud and rude. Obviously they were travelers and had no respect for other patrons. Their conversations were overwhelmingly loud and disrespectful considering there was children nearby. I understand that’s not Shoneys fault but someone should have approached the group and asked for consideration of other customers. I almost did it myself but I didn’t think it was appropriate. We will return in the future I just hope that we don’t encounter another group like this one. Thanks Shoneys for a delicious breakfast. Shame on those that feel like they can act like idiots anywhere they want to.

Tracy has wonderful customer service! We were quickly greeted and sat. She explained the available lunch options and was very pleasant while doing so! The salad bar was fresh and inviting with multiple healthy options to choose from. The hot bar had a wide variety of vegetables and a decent selection of meats.

You know how memories of a place often exceed the reality? Not so with our recent stop at Shoney’s in Florence, SC. We used to drive the I-95 corridor to Florida every year when our kids were small, and the favorite stop for us and our kids was Shoney’s. We haven’t been in many years and it lived up to our fondest memories. We had their Thursday buffet which included a beautiful salad bar and an outstanding breakfast bar. Everything was fresh, and the hot foods were hot. Delightful French toast sticks, sausage was tasty, country gravy was yummy, macaroni salad flavorful. Blueberry muffins were fluffy and delicious. And much much more. Service was prompt with frequent check ins. We will definitely be back.

Great service and the food was delicious. But the breakfast buffet was the best!
